1. Worksheets
2. Good Boardwork
3. Encouraging student participation
4. Leading review sessions
5. Dealing with quiet students/obnoxious students
6. Effective Demo presentation
7. Writing quizzes, exam questions, homeworks (all are roughly the same level of difficulty)
8. Mid-term evaluations
9. Think-Pair-Share and other interactive techniques for lecture
10. Teaching for advanced classes (more advanced students)
11. Having AY 10 profs visit and share their teaching philosophies

1. Exp GSI visit (if possible)
2. Design-a-demo
3. Video-taping
4. Lecture visitation for opposite prof
5. Write/heavily modify a worksheet and contribute to the wiki
6. Write a quiz (make non-Alex GSIs do this as well for the experience)
7. Evaluate a teaching technique/curriculum (e.g., Modeling Discourse Mgmt)??
