“Small Teaching” is a book by James Lang which discusses small ways to change teaching in order to benefit student learning. It offers extremely practical, easy-to-implement, small suggestions for instructors which have large impacts in the classroom.
In this activity, groups of GSIs will be given descriptions of pedagogy experiments that were detailed in the book and will draw their own conclusions based on the findings.
