We spent time talking about active learning and group work in Ay300. Pick one of the various techniques or group-learning activities and implement it in your next section. Be sure to answer the questions for this week's teaching log before the next class. Also, bring your teaching log with you to class. They will be checked (and the questions discussed).

Send Therese and Jonnie some homework questions from your class. We will have you practice answering questions about these assignments at the board.

Review the materials on syllabus writing and first day lesson plans (accessible from the main Ay300 webpage) and write a draft of your syllabus and lesson plan. Your lesson plan should include introductions, an ice breaker, an engaging activity, and time for assessment and feedback.

Bring a copy of both your syllabus and lesson with you to the second bootcamp day.
